The weather isn't keeping voters away from the polls at the Carver Community Center in West Anniston. Poll Inspector Peggy Smedley said that the turnout has been steady and 118 people had voted by lunch time. She expects the rush to pick-up as people get off work.
People might want to have $1 when they're heading out of the polls. The Golden Agers, a senior group at the center, will hit you up for a buck for their fund raiser.
